Liberalism is an ideology for the______? Narcissists Undeniable truth #1 about the Left may 2014

The obvious issue here is what should fill in that blank. The truth is several words fit perfectly. Liberalism as an ideology is complicated, it has many facets. Today, I will begin to define Liberalism for what it is, in terms I believe are indisputable. Liberals reading these will howl but, I defy anyone to refute my points. Some of these I have discovered through my own dealings with, and my own writings about Liberals. Others I have heard others say, and upon reflection, found that I agree. This first one, for example, I picked up listening to Dennis Prager, whom I admire greatly. As soon as I heard Dennis say Liberals say Liberals are narcissists it was like a light went on. So, with thanks to Dennis Prager allow me to explain why Liberalism is an ideology for the narcissistic.

Think about this. What are Liberals consumed with, I mean truly consumed by? Emotions? Yes, a sense that they care more? Certainly. A feeling that they are smarter, and better informed? Absolutely. For a Liberal everything, ultimately, is all about that person they see in the mirror.

To the radical Atheist for example, and yes every radical Atheist I have ever heard speak is a person of the Left, their opposition of any public mention of God is not about a “separation of church and state” at all. It is about them. They are so consumed by their own feelings, and their own egos that they cannot tolerate anyone holding a different view. This is why they are so nasty, and such bullies. And no, most Atheists are NOT this way. Most of them are live and let live. But the Atheists who lose their minds over a cross, or nativity scene, or over Santa Claus in a Christmas parade are radical both in their belief and approach to others who have differing beliefs. They must have their way, and they must have the last word.

Ten or so years ago, I watched a story about two boys who really wanted to join the Boy Scouts. It was their dream, they loved everything about the Boy Scouts, well almost everything. It seems they just could not bring themselves to join  because the oath offended them, it mentioned God, and as Atheists, well. So, these boys had a dilemma. They could join the scouts, and just mouth the oath and enjoy all the other things about scouting, or they could not join, or they could try to force the Boy Scouts, through a suit to change their pledge. Take a wild guess what path they chose. I remember one boy saying he was standing for his principles.

So, to these “principled” boys, the proper thing to do wasn’t to accept the Boy Scout rules. No, it was to force all the other scouts to change their traditions to accommodate them. These little narcissists had to have their way, and everyone else was expected to change for them.

Of course, this attitude is quite common among Liberals isn’t it? If anyone offends a Liberal they must apologize, or else because a Liberal’s feelings are the most important thing ever. You cannot dare question a government program that wastes money, and gets no results because the most important thing about that program is not results, it is intentions you see. Liberals can point to that program and say “see I care, I am a good person!” It is all about them. Any symbol that offends a Liberal must be immediately pulled down, erased, or removed from public view because Liberals say so. If it offends a Liberal it must go, period! It does not matter if removing, or erasing a symbol deeply hurts many more people than it appeases. Liberals worship their feelings, and their feelings are the only ones that count.

I could go on, and on, and on, and, well you get the point. Liberals are very intolerant, and very smug, and their egos are out of control, and that is because narcissists gravitate towards Liberalism because Liberalism is ultimately about Liberals wallowing in their own over inflated sense of self-importance.
